Why are we discussing drilling restricted offshore areas right now?

There isn't any drilling equipment available to explore these areas for the next 5 years. There isn't enough ships to explore the waters that they have permission to explore. Why don't we wait a handful of years until it becomes practical to discuss this question?

If we had started years ago this would not be a problem today! The elite have built along all the shore borders and will hold this back as long as they can. Instead we will pay millions to insure that they get to do this! It is time to clean all of congress out!

If the oil companies don't want to, they should announce it so the political exploitation of it can stop.

And why don't you quit listening and believing every web site that pops up? Your opinion about why we can't do it reminds me of 1974 all over again. A few reasons why we can't do it worked just great for those who didn't want more oil exploration. We never did go looking for new oil and that's why we're back to square one, thirty four years later.

When you take the first step, you are already half way there !
