Why are we able to discuss the rate for black women being single at 70%?

But not discuss the rate for black men being single at 60%? It's clear both are high percentages so why is society only bashing and degrading our black women?

Natasha - then why are 60% of black men single? is it because the majority of them can't find a good woman?

heh "and so the battle lines were drawn" being single is hardly a "black only" problem IF the stats are true (which in most cases they're not) how's it bashing anyone? being single is hardly a curse nor can anyone use it to judge the quality of an entire race, ya don't hear anyone saying "those scum!! they're all single damn them!!"
 
Maybe they choose to be single. Not every woman wants to get married and settle down.
Edit: I think society talks about women more b/c of the many black single mothers out there.
