Why are there so many stupid people, like at the recent rangers game shown publicly at Piccadilly Gardens, starting to beat people up, police staff & destroying things in their parth just because a TV couldnt display a game due to technical difficulties? Is there really a need for this because of some sporting event. I am a football fan &i drink too much on occasions but i would never dream of starting up a fight because i cant see a football game.
Please dont come with an excuse like, oh but it was such an important game or its the alcohol or this happens in other countries too. You have to be messed up to begin with. Alcohol just amplifies the whole thing. If you cant get drunk without being aggressive, then stop drinking.
I say every single person caught in a fight around a football match should receive a huge penalty and be banned permanently from football games altogether immediately. Nobody to blame but themselves.
