why are the social sciences...?

That's because social science is mostly based on observations by historians. And this data cannot be proven to be accurate. one must take the word of the historians.

In addition to this, George Orwell quoted in 1984, :"Who controls the past controls the future."

Some governments, like the US, have lied about the past, like the innocent deaths of native americans, mayans, and early settler's history. all this has been done to portray a positive BIAS (very IMPORTANT) portrait about the country and its people in power.

conventional sciences is not all BIAS. It explores why things happen and what are the makes it, and outside factors.
