pittsburgh last year whining tonight?
"the Air Force is gay"

Is that why you just outed yourself?
""just a city boy, born and raised in south"...

There is no such place as "south Detroit". (REAL Detroiters refer to it as the east side or the west side)

Now don't you feel foolish?
"your good"

you are is you're NOT "your".

I'm better than any penguins fan.

Doesn't that just frost your behind?
"arrogant"?

LMMFAO

How many Cups has Detroit won in the last 15 years compared to your penguins?

Detroit has a hockey legacy to be proud of. WAY more so than pittsburgh. Now don't you feel foolish?
" I vividly remember this and remember thinking "Wow. The people of Pittsburgh sure do have a lot of class." I was proud of them."

The no classs pens fans BOOED The Wings last year.

Are you drunk tonight or just senile?
"Nobody booed last year."

I saw it and heard it, so why lie?

Becuase they can do sumthin and they think theyre better than everyone esle cuz their team won the cup i can't wait for next year can you say the penguins are gunna get killed :D and btw meeka have you ever heard of a game where detroit beat the rangers FIFTEEN TO NUTHIN!!! :D:D:DD:

Did you take the names of everyone that booed last year and compare them to those that complained this year? man, your good. But I'm sure there is at least ONE person that's not accounted for.

Keep in mind that everyone in Detroit thought the Red Wings were supposed to win the Cup, including me. Most of the boos were directed at one Gary Bettman for the way he handles his duties as Commissioner of the NHL. Fans in Detroit are a little bitter, I included, after last season especially when commercials show a young Sidney Crosby taming the giant when in all actuality, Detroit won the Stanley cup last year. I can point to a few commercials on the Versus "sports network". I often (and I am not alone in thinking this) why/how could you show the "runner-up" as if he is the one, or his team is the one who won, when again, they didn't? Detroit fans feel slighted and disrespected in this sense. Now, not all this is Gary's fault, but a lot of people want to place the blame there unfairly, yet sometimes justifiable also.

As for the whiners here, it is their prerogative and their right although not classy. Similar again to last years finals when Detroit won in Pittsburgh, many fans booed the Conn Smythe winner, Henrik Zetterberg because many Pittsburgh fans believed that Sidney Crosby was more deserving of the honor than Zetterberg. Also these same fans thought that their team should have won as opposed to the Red Wings. Call it tit-for-tat in a way as well.

What's really amazing is the number of BANDWAGON fans that have all of the sudden, jumped out from under their rocks etc and made their presence known tonight because they live in the city where the new Stanley Cup Champions come from, yet these same "fans" aren't around during the regular or post season to discuss or participate in the Hockey Section. If the Pens didn't win, you wouldn't see probably 85-90% of these same people except for the fact that they think they have somewhere else to celebrate by coming here and whining/rubbing it in about and to other real and regular fans.

I watched the Game 6 last year in Pittsburgh. When the Wings were handed the cup, the crowd clapped for them. I vividly remember this and remember thinking "Wow. The people of Pittsburgh sure do have a lot of class." I was proud of them. It seemed like A LOT of the people at the Joe were booing Bettman AND Crosby when he lifted the cup. However, I also heard a lot of cheers and clapping. I'm sure most of the Wings fans actually WERE showing class.
