Why are the Nokia phones keep getting discontinued?

the 6275 is not discontinued (yet). It has been on and off backorder for two months tho. I am told that the situation will get a lot better in the next two weeks. (in fact we just got our first shipment in a month on these)

about a month and a half ago, the store in albuquerque told me they werent expecting the FIRST shipment of 75's till noveraber

o.o lol yeah all the companys need to like go a better job at ordering phones plus Cricket neeRAB to jump to like 4G lol and skip 3G roll out lol XD and get like more hanRABets and PDA's they should have like 20+ at least >=P let the flaming begen

the 6275i is nearly identical to the 6265i (except for the form factor obviously)

what i was told was 6275i would be on and off backorder until the end of nov. then the inventory issues should be over. i'm not 100% sure this is all cricket's fault. there may be other issues we are not aware of.

the 75 is exactly the same as the 65, just in a bar form. the 2mp camera, the video recording, and everything else.

when i dropped my first 65, i considered getting a 75, but the stores would not have them for at least a month.

i managed to score a brand new, sealed, cricket 65 off of ebay for 150, and dispite the fact that it was discontinued over a year before, i thought it was a damn good deal

Nokia is looking to get out of the CDMA segment and focus on GSM. With the whole CDMA chip issue with Qualcomm and Broadcomm I cant say I blame them. If imports with the chip are blocked, then Nokia is SOL because thats all CDMA.
