Why are the new brakes on the rear of my 98 toyota corolla making a clicking noise?

I installed new brake shoes and new brake drums in the rear of my 98 corolla, and 3 days later, they started making a clicking noise that is in tune with the rotation of the wheel. I exchanged the new Chinese brake drums for another pair of new Wagner brake drums made in the U.S. and put the new brake drums on and cleaned everything again and put it all together again. And once again, 3 days later, the clicking noise returned. I double and triple checked the brakes. Nothing is visibly wrong with them. Does anyone know why this is happening?
I didn't say that I needed someone to tell me how to install new brakes, or inspect the rest of the car. I want an answer to my question, and the person answering the question should NOT assume that they are the only one who knows how to properly clean, install and adjust brake shoes. Just answer my question, if you know the answer. Otherwise, don't bother!!
