Why are the few people left supporting Obama saying it is too early to judge?

Let me point out some numbers to you. We are in month eight of Obama's presidency. A president's term lasts 4 years. There's no way we can fully say whether or not the administration is a success or a failure.

Personally, I think that Obama's moving a bit too fast. However, this isn't entirely his fault. People are demanding change now and he is forced to have to appease to them. Otherwise, things aren't going that bad thus far.

I think after the federal spending and stimulus packages of epic proportions that have yielded no results at all (in fact the economy is only continuing to decline) would allow me to safely conclude "this foo is all sho and no go, and he's a phoney not a homey".

And yes, there are only a few people left. Gallup says that conservatives are now outnumbering liberals in every state. Epic fail.
And I'm sure some of us know how quickly pulled America out of the Carter-induced depression. In office he said "WTF is all this government spending? We're spending the Americans' money. It belongs to them, not us." After that the economy improved.
Yeppers, the dems running congress even under Bush has put him in a straight jacket and effed the economy up. It was convenient to blame Bush for their mistakes though.

But next year Obama will inherit the straight jacket when the dems are elected out of congress muhahaha!
Obama always promised to act swiftly and deliver change quickly but I guess he could've taken his time because what's the rush of acting immediately when it supposedly takes years for his actions to show effect?

They forget that Dems have ran the country for the last 2 1/2 years and done nothing but screw up!

You guys are all idiots.

It's not Clinton, Bush 2, or Obama... it all started in the 70s with Jude Wanniski and his crooked deals to win elections for Republicans for elections to come. For a brief background, Wanniski introduced supply side economics which the Reagan administration applied the economy to. What it allowed was tax cuts for the very very rich so they could hopefully build factories and jobs in the USA. What happened was they did the opposite: they outsourced and set their extra money in offshore accounts. The economy has been folding ever since the early 2000s- and folding quick. Deregulation greatly contributed to that, a practice that began before the last three presidents (and it started with supply side and the Santa Clause theories).

Secondly, you cannot blame the economy on a president because it has not recovered within his 7 months in office. If you remember good, the Great Depression took nearly 10 years for recovery: we're blessed this isn't as grave as the Great Depression but still you have to realize, economies don't recover instantly. And are you sure that the economy isn't starting to show sunlight? Both the housing market and stock selection are up, the employment sector is down, however. But you also got to understand, when you take a hit as bad as the US did in last October, it takes more than a year for employment recovery. Companies can't just rehire like that, it takes some time to build the entity and time heals. Secondly, as time progresses and stocks do well, then new companies form.

Lastly, Obama has done very well. Where was Bush when the Freddie and Fanie fell? At his fort? Obama has been visiting world locations, he has pushed for health care reform and is battling not a US recession, but a global recession. He's only a man. He can't make miracles. That's what I don't understand of people. Things can't be done so quickly in government and especially economics. Business is a bureaucracy. And if you say I'm hippie on Democratic ideas, let's debate. You clearly are distraught with your government not because you've experienced it but because you hate Democrats.

And furthermore, the Republican party may be larger than the Democrats, but did it ever occur to you that the Republicans are split while the Democrats are united??

Do your research "homie" and come back to me.
