When SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MEN THAN WOMEN are enrolled in trade schools learning well-paid careers?

These blue-collar trade schools aren't counted in the traditional data about university enrollment because its not university:

“For many, women economic incentive is primary. Jobs that are nontraditional for women pay more than traditional female occupations

This study examined the meaning the adult women enrolled in Penn-
sylvania College of Technology gave to their life and work experiences that led them to enter nontraditional majors….

Pennsylvania College of Technology is a public institution within
central Pennsylvania offering educational programs in traditional and advanced technology. It is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania State
University and offers associate and baccalaureate degrees with a strong emphasis on hands-on career programs. Its student body numbers 5000; 67% are male, 33% female. Minority students comprise approximately 4% of the student population."

Don't kid yourself: there is plenty of book-learning involved, in addition to the hands-on stuff. I would want my electrician to have a "sound grounding" in what was discussed in the textbooks.
The idea is to make you "well-rounded", and so to make you educated. I had to take linguistics and my degree had nothing to do with linguistics. I know a nursing student who was moaning about having to take an english literature (essay writing) class. Get over it, its good for you.

I guess those men are jealous of women? I don't see men in as many low paying dead-end jobs...

Because of of the anti-feminist men are caught up in a victim mentality of epic proportions. they don't care to look at the the facts and figures objectively, they just want to believe that their own personal problems are due to outside factors, rather than their own failings.

I think it's so true that employers these days look towards trade school. A college degree is just a piece of paper to them. If you had hands on experience, like a lot of it, they like that. They are looking towards a more practical approach when choosing employees. Not sitting and reading books, but actually doing work for a couple years with someone guiding you.
Edit:
yeah..but you read books and do hands on work for a couple of years, concentrated more on practical part. But in university, it's four years. maybe a couple of semesters doing co-op, then the rest is theory. The first two years of university is basically just learning stuff that doesn't have anything to do with your major. I find that kind of annoying. My degree has nothing to do with math, and I need to take math in university.

Edit:
sigh...I'm trying to praise trade school....maybe you need to get a clue.
btw...bashing another member personally..not cool...
