Why are so many of the questions in YA politics immature, inane, or childish rants?

instead of reasoned adult questions they too often seem to degrade any who respond. has real discourse in this nation degenerated to such a degree?

Well that's because many of the people are mimicking their idols on talk radio , fox news etc. Ever listen to Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh? they don't engage in conversation, they don't with people, but at people...

...and take a look at the content, its childish insults, labeling, endless tantrums...

Ann Coulter and the like...

I will give them this...they aren't stupid...they come up with clever insults and one liners. But that's it. If you want a mature conversation with the fruitful exchange of ideas, it's out here but it's becoming a "needle in the heystack" phenomena
