Why are Republicans so easily played by Fox news?

this Palin thing is a prime example....you know that Letterman was referring to Bristol Palin (She is the one who just had the baby)...yet, when Fox news decides this is newsworthy, you get up in arms...same thing happened with Jeremiah Wright and Sotomayor...How many times you gonna get burnt before you realize Fox is playing you?
 
It doesnt matter that the republicans worked themselves up into a hateful frenzy and put Obamas life in jeopardy. he was called everything in the book. Tell Palin to get over it its not damn big deal. We are not lettermans keeper anyways.
 
Why are Democrats so easily played by Letterman and MSNBC?

-Bristol was not at the Yankees game, the 14 year old was.
-Would Letterman make the same type of joke, involving A-Rod or Elliot Spitzer, about President Obama's daughters? If the joke to tasteless in referring to the First Family of the US, it is a tasteless joke in referring to the first family of Alaska.
-Do you remember how Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas were demonized? Sonia Sotomayor should get a free pass when other potential justices are skewered?

Do you realize that you are making as much sense as Letterman's apology did?
 
Letterman was NOT referring to Bristol, she wasn't on the trip. Only Willow was at the ballgame, and only Willow was singled out for rape by a ballplayer. You are the manipulated one, and the sad part is you are clueless to your own ignorance. You know what confirms your clulessness? You insinuation that Rev. Wright isn't a racist.
 
FOX News is not really a journalistic enterprise, it is a 'propaganda organ' for the Republican Party. People don't watch FOX News to be edified and informed, but to have their own prejudices reinforced. If you want to hate Obama and 'liberals', FOX gives you plenty of ammunition.

At this point the Republican Party is in disarray. Bush did serious damage to the party, and they know it though they don't like to talk about it. They are having an internal struggle as to which is the best way to proceed from here. Right-wing 'news' organizations like FOX, EIB, etc., are thinking more about their own ratings and profits, and are leading the party off a cliff.

They do this, of course, by manufacturing outrage over minor things so conservatives will feel 'wronged'. This is a long-standing Republican tradition. In fact people like Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter deliberately say outrageous things to draw criticism, so they can then say "See how they hate us?"

Who was at the game, the 14 yr old. Who did Letterman refer to, the daughter at the game. So unless you are a complete dunce, you KNOW he refered to the 14 yr old.
BTW, I do not listen to Rush or watch Fox News. Another liberal stupidity busted deal with it.
 
I don't think the majority are. Just the obnoxious ones on this site. Normal people don't give into all this political rage.

Of course he as referring to Bristol. The joke does not make sense with Willow. They know that. I don't see how it is relevant to us. We didn't say it.
