Sex education if they oppose abortions so much? Shouldn't they be completely supportive of teaching sex education in schools to prevent the possibility of unwanted pregnancies in this country? What do you think?

1. Stop denigrating people who stand for life and stop putting quotes around the word.2. Sex ed is STUPID and it is headed up by liberals who should put one condom over their tongue and then another larger condom over their head.Cucumber condomization needs to be removed from curricula, and then a rugged superintendent needs to grab the liberal sex educators, then throw them out of the building and down the schoolhouse steps. We used to have superintendent who was a large, principled man and he could have done exactly that, had such a corrupt agenda existed when I was young.

The point is you're only supposed to have sex with your oppositely gendered spouseSince 99.8% of all baby murd...er abortions are simply a conveinent after contraceptive Why should we advacate unmarried sex at all?

The only answer is that they want to control reproduction. If they didnt' want to control reproduction they would be handing out condoms because each condom worn could potentially prevent a murder if you follow their logic.

You can't say that about all people who choose the pro-life stance as one label is never applicable to a whole group. I'm sure some are supportive of comprehensive sex education and some aren't.

I'm pro-life and I feel that sex ed is fine but abstinence is better. Peace out.BTW: Here's experience talking. When couples become intimate with each other using condoms, EVENTUALLY you both will start having sex without the condom. IT NEVER FAILS.You can set your watch to it!

joe = stupid.she's not putting down anyone with this question. it's a simple question, no insults. well, i'm pro-choice and i won't pretend to know what exactly is going on through their heads... BUT i feel like they treat them as two DIFFERENT issues.

The only reason for sex ed being taught in school is because parents failed to do their God given duties as parents at home.Sex Ed does not belong in the school house.

What I oppose is direct government intrusion into something that is plainly between me and my children. It smacks of dictatorship.

Because people who decide they are adult enough to have sex, even though they know there is ALWAYS a chance of them getting pregnant and then killing the innocent babies that didn't ask to be born is sick. They should be "adult" enough to be responsible for the consequences that came from them making that decision. Sex Ed, OBVIOUSLY isn't doing much since the rate of abortions, and teen pregnancies have gone up in the last few years. Maybe if they told the kids all the wonderful stretch marks, and labor pains... and weight gain and abortions weren't so easy to get or at least not FREE then they would think twice about having sex in the first place. I have absolutely no problem with contraception, I'm on it myself! I'm just against murdering... which I'm against in EVERY situation, adult, child... it doesn't matter... Who are we to play God?! My Mom always taught about sex early, and that's what I will do in my family as well.

I think you're talking about fundamentalists. But respect for life starts with respect for our own bodies. That means not using sex as a recreational sport. It also means being responsible for the new human life formed.

My brother is Catholic and pro-life. He doesn't believe in condoms or any other form of contraceptive, and of course is against abortion. So, he gets no sex, because his wife has had 3 children and doesn't want anymore. But, apparently, he's not against adultery, because now he goes to other women to get sex...hmmm.

It is "comprehensive" sex education that we are against. You know, saying on one hand, "...abstinence is best, but since you're gonna do it anyway, here's how to use a condom or the pill."People are not animals in heat. People do have the ability (just apparently, not the desire) to control their baser instincts. We can say no if we wanted. We give tacit approval to premarital sex when we send messages like that. Can you imagine what it would be like if we said, "Smoking is bad for you, but since you're gonna do it anyway, use filtered, low-tar and low-nicotine brands." People would be properly outraged. Why should sex be any different?

Because it's not the governments job to teach kids about sex, That's a parents job, Besides that your sending the message for them to have sex, Sex education wasn't taught years ago and we had no where near the high school teen pregnancy rate then we have in schools today . God bless.

Hi... Although not from the USA, I'll be happy to jump in here and say that sex education SHOULD be taught in all schools; because a lot of parents these days just really couldn't give two cents (pennies) what their kids were doing these days. Okay, so that was a generalisation... Let's just say that students should be given a choice of whether or not they want to attend sex-ed lectures... It can't hurt.As a father of four, I have already given my eldest "the talk" and he learned about it at school here in Australia in a sex-ed class - the class discussed safe-sex and the impact of contracting sexual diseases.Education is the best answer either through home or school - but the school students should be given the choice - if their parents have done the job - then they don't need to attend the class; the political correctness that America rifely spread throughout the world needs to be balanced, because it has swung way out of control. Instead, parents, politicians, and even students, should be asking for a quality sex-education program to be run in the schools. It would save a lot of grief for everyone involved further down the track.
