Why are these considered sins...First off i do believe in god and Christianity but one thing i have always wondered is why these things i listed considered sins? NO ONE, i mean NO ONE gets hurt in any way when you do these things. None of these bring harm, shame, or anything to anyone so why are they considered sins....I understand why people would try to preach against sex, drinkin, and smoking (although i still believe that they aren't sins), but Masturbation??? Serioulsly!! First off, i would like to say, Masturbation has never been harmful to anybody....and sex is a win win for the guy and the girl. When it comes to drinking and smoking the only person getting harmed is the person drinking or smoking which is their responsibility. If you want to argue that smoking and drinking is a sin because it is harmful to the user then you might as well say that eating hamburgers is a sin.
Bottom line is: if you drink or smoke responsibally then why should you be commiting a sin? Same goes for sex. And as for masturbation: i have never heard a good argument as to why it should be a sin.
