us how to do them? I am talking about people on here...this is an American website. And I know US is a world leader but still...Why?
But it's written in English. And what are those little flags for down at the bottom?
Mignon, of course I know that...lol decades ago honey and somehow, we speak it better then them! : )

1. This is not an American website. The internet covers the world.
2. People comment on u.s. politics for the same reason the the u.s. tries to influence politics in Russia, Iraq, and in the rest of the world. We think it is in out best interests not to have madmen running other countries.

Because it's important for the entire world.

People from other countries are commenting American elections and the Americans are trying to change systems and governments of other countries. Now tell me, what's sillier? The ones who are writing comments or the ones who invade other nations?

Unfortunately we have it rammed down our throats day and night, it is an endless torture....will it NEVER end?

I think that it's nice to see how our politicians are seen from a fresh eye. If I saw Tony Blair acting like a buffoon and some poor Brit wondered if he should vote for him I would give my .02.

Besides, even though this is an American version all are welcome. Isn't that what America was founded on?

I have wondered that many times myself. I'm not qualified to comment on European politics and really don't care about them.

They have the right to say what they feel. You have no control over that, the sooner you get acquainted with that idea, the better(for you).

People all over the world can speak two languages - one of them being English. We are the only country that I have lived in or visited that speaks English only and somehow takes pride in that fact. Therefore, lots of people from all over the world watch what we're doing because we're silly, immature, uninformed and amusing to them. Can you blame them?

Much of the world's economy hinges on our own.

A great deal is at stake in this election both for USA citizens as well as citizens of other countries.

another ignorant individual...do you really think that we are the only people on the planet?

Yahoo wants you to know you have people from every country on here!
America insists on invading / tampering with / governing / and bulling other countries. So we feel a God given right to involve our selves with what effects us as well as you!
America under the wrong leadership is a threat to me and my family.
If you stay out of our lives we'll stay out of yours

Put Obama in and we can relax

An American Website..please! People from all around the world use this website so push off buddy! And whoa, you are really arrogant. I KNOW we are world leaders. What you are one of the biggest countries and have a lot of shares and a big place in the stock market. Yeah, the US is great, but talking about the elections now; your system is not the best. They stretch on forever and there is an unbelievable amount spent on each campaign. Plus most of their money is spent trying to CONVINCE people to vote in the first place. There should be compulsory voting. And there is a lot of dirty work going on behind the scenes, and no candidate would dare to say what they mean straightforward, it's always around the bush.

They are commenting on our elections because our elections are the longest and most ridiculous out of any country. We drag this stuff on for almost a YEAR! We are basically a spectical in the world community as how NOT to run your elections. Also, if I lived in another country I could only find it amusing what a freak show our presidential election is....but because I live here, I only find it sad...

Why does our country (America) try to control the entire world through extortion, violence and gunboat diplomacy? And why are you such a hypocrite? Who gets elected president in the US affects many countries more than who gets elected president in their own country.

Because what happens in America effects the rest of the world which is why I suppose you refer to them as a world leader. In addition Yahoo is a world wide site.

We thought you could use some tips and are hoping you get it right this time.

This site is for people who speak English.

1. Yahoo is a global company. This is not an "American" website.
2. The U.S. isn't just a world leader, but also a world meddler, sticking our noses and guns into other peoples business around the world, so it's only natural that the rest of the world, not knowing who we might invade next, is concerned about who ends up running the country, whether it's :

A. John McCain, who in a room full of reporters started signing "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran." (to the tune of the Beach Boys Barberanne), or
B. Barrack Obama, who said in a national televised debate that he would send troops into Pakistan to get Bin Laden whether Pakistan liked it or not.

Elections have consequences, and our elections have consequences for the world. If I'm the Chinese I have to be planning a pre-emptive strike should McCain fall ill and Sarah Palin take office.
