Why are people with anger issues such a joke?

I realize that getting angry is natural, but excessive anger, please. Why do people who get angry all the time think they are fooling anyone? They are just broadcasting how scared and weak they are. After all, isn't anger a weak minded persons imitation of being strong?

I agree with janstolz. People who are that angry dont want to be that angry. You think they LIKE going to jail and getting into fights? Of course not. They are very insecure. Everyone is to some degree, but this type is clinically insecure(if such a term exsists).

Usually, they cannot be persuaded into believing they are worth something. They will have to find that out on their own.

It seems to me you aren't thinking about the issue from all sides. As a observer you may see an angry person who isn't solving anything at all, they're being stupid, they're weak. But really aggression comes from a place of fear and sadness. They express it in outbursts because that is probably how they were taught to let out their feelings from their parents. It's the same as someone who overeats, smokes, drinks, etc. Unhelpful things. It's just coping. So don't be so hard on them. They are people. They deserve understanding just like you would expect for your mistakes.

Anger is often a result of frustration; the person not living up to their own standards (or think they are not) and has very little to do with being tough.
