abortion? I am so sick of this. Someone just wants some information; true, unbiased information about abortion. Medial, surgical, or herbal abortion. That's it. They aren't asking if they should or should not do it, they aren't asking what YOU think about the morals behind it, they just want a straightforward, scientific answer to a question they have. Does it hurt? How long does it take? How effective is it? Simple questions that can be answered using pure data gained from scientific research conducted using rigorous outlines.
When some self-righteous bigot pops in and tells a struggling man or woman that they are going to hell for their choice, or that they shouldn't do it because babies are OMG SO CUUUUTE, or some other irrelevant BS, that is not helpful. It has nothing remotely to do with the question. It is not an answer. If you don't agree with the question, don't answer it. You will be contributing nothing to the conversation, you won't dissuade the person asking the question, and you will overall make an ass of yourself.
This question, and other questions about abortions, are not opportunities to get up on your soap box. It is an opportunity to share relevant (keyword RELEVANT) information with people who want answers to tough questions. This is not the place to discuss theology, philosophy, morality, or spirituality. There are other boards to discuss that.
