Artists, musicians, actors are almost always okay with gay people, when people in other industries have a problem accepting. Why is it? I mean, gay people are everywhere, why they are accepted differently in different fields?
Stereo typing the entertainment industry is just as silly as any other. Gay people are everywhere? As are every other kind of people. Why would they have any less of a right to be somewhere then let's say, a stupid person.. after all you can find stupid people and bigots everywhere too.
Oh, I suppose I have to try to answer this question; in all seriousness, gay people are being accepted in different fields by different people differently because that's the way it is with everything.
In the entertainment industry it turned out that some of the sexiest most talented men (Rock Hudson to name only one of MANY) turned out to be gay. Proving to all of the world that we are what we are and that is something we that goes far deeper (pun intended)then a lable.(gay) Best wishes.
