Being, all pissed off about it not receiving an Oscar nomination. Now, I for one saw it and I had preconceived notions it would suck. Much too my surprise it was not as bad as I perceived it to be, but still it was not great either. Mediocre really, nowhere near Oscar worthy.Yet, there is a mass hysteria that surrounds the film and people say, stupid things, like it is the best movie of all-time. When in reality it is not even close and saying so is a mockery to cinematography. This movie is nowhere near Oscar worthy because the movie is bland at times and seems to compare to the Hollywood movies of today where it is mediocre or just really bad.Very few movies are exceptionally done nowadays as Hollywood has taken a turn for the worst, since the late 90's to now. There are no more Forrest Gump's, Shawshank Redemption's, The Godfather's, A Clockwork Orange's = movies that stand the test of time. Twilight is a mediocrity and fits nowhere w/ such movies that are Oscar worthy, like Slumdog or Benjamin Button. Those are movies w/ renowned directors, like Danny Boyle and a star cast, like Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett not amateurs, like Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. And Twilight sure as hell has no place being mentioned in the greatest movie of all-time category. That is insulting to Casablanca, Citizen Cane, Raging Bull, Forrest Gump, Scarface, A Clockwork Orange, Shawshank Redemption, etc. so why does Twilight still have this mass craze around it?
