Why are older men who like younger girls considered creepy?

I'm considered attractive but I'm in my 40's and I happen to like dating women in their early 20's. Why do so many people have a problem with that? I'm into it neither as a control freak nor as a father figure. I'm just a guy trying to enjoy my life and doing so means that I enjoy the company of beautiful young women. Why does it matter so much that we were born 20 years apart? Some people say that there's no way we can relate to each other. Come on... just because we didn't watch the same TV shows as kids doesn't mean we can't talk! Sure, we're in a different place, but people are multi-dimensional. We can all find commonalities. We live in the same society and share the same experiences right now. Any input?

The reason it is considered creepy is because alot of men who go after "older teens" also have either a current or former wife/girlfriend thats home raising his kids all by herself. All the while your suffering a mid life crisis thinking your 19 again partying with the college kids completely forgetting about your own kids at home missing you.
While you both "live in the same society and are presently living similar experiences" you have alot more experiences than any 20 year old has under your belt. And because you have lived through twice as many experiences as she has it makes you that much more maturer and that much more experienced and that much further in life than she is. Not to mention it makes you "that" much closer to being the same age as her actual parents. Imagine you dating a girl thats 21 years old and your 43 and her dad is 41 and you are sleeping with his daughter. That doesnt come across as creepy to you?
