Why are old video games harder to find in stores than old movies?

Because old movies are considered classics, and are being continually made and shipped out to stores. Video games, however, are downplayed if they don't have perfect graphics and unfortunately after awhile the company stops making new copies of the game, especially if it wasn't too popular. I suggest checking the stores website and calling the stores near you, I've found some old games like that. Try to avoid eBay, I would have had to pay 60$ for a 2006 game if I hadn't been lucky enough to find it at GameStop for 20.
