why are my periods Weird?

Im 14 and i have had my period for about 2 years. i AM a virgin and well my period is weird.. my other period was like april 26th and i just got one on june 12th so that means iv skipped like a month and 2 weeks? but any ways iv had my period for about a day now and its very light and brown its almost like spotting. iv been getting back cramps but that's all.. my mom dosint seem to worried about me skipping but is this normal? oh and iv only had like all brown spotting 2 times since iv gotten my very first period
