So I have two dwarf hamsters,
they are both girls, sisters, in fact.
I got them at the same time a couple months ago when they were a little older than babies, so they've never been separated or anything.
They've always gotten along great, they'd groom each other, both run on the wheel at the same time, sleep right next to each other or even sometimes on top of one another huddled in the corner. But since two days ago they've actually started fighting.
They stand on their back legs, get in each others faces, showing teeth, chasing each other (not playfully) and just barely for the first time one of them kind of like hissed.
Is this kind of just a stage or something?
I know it all sounds silly, but I'm a big animal lover and it'd break my heart if I woke up one morning to find one of them had killed the other..
Also, I have not changed anything in their diet or environment whatsoever.
