Why are my front speakers for my car not working on my Jeep?

We got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic today and when I turned the radio on it was all good then we hit a bump and the front speakers stopped playing music. The radio is a Dual XD1222. Anyways when we were going to walmart the front speakers started to work and then I turned the volume up and they just stopped again. What can be the problem? Do you think it might be from the wiring harness?. Can anyone help? Thanks.
