I have 11 fish now (3/11/09) in a ten gallon tank. 2 Days ago my algae eater died. i had watched him all day and he was fine until around 3:30. i went on the computer and when i came back he was dead on the pebbles with a bloody stomach. today i noticed one of my red eye tetra near the top of the water with a huge stomach. also it was sticking its head above the water and i was keeping an eye on him/her until i ate dinner and came back and he/she was at the top of the tank with its stomach facing up dead. i checked the ammonia it is fine. please help i dnt wnt any more fish dying so please give me your advice.

do u put stuff in the tank specially for fish or if u do u might be putting too much in i use Aqua Safe GOOD LUCK!or like they said too much fish?not enough food?something?

first of all your tank is small you should probably get a 25 gal tank
for those fishes and in 10 gal tank put general aid in the tank (1DROP to 2 GAL) and maintain the the temp to 29C (84F) and raise the air flow

The tank is overstocked.

What type of fish do you have aside from those listed?
What level of ammonia is fine to you?
