re-defining marriage? Marriage changes based on society's needs. What's so wrong with gay marriage? It doesn't hurt anyone.
I'm refering the Joseph Smith's revelation in 1852, regarding polygamy, and the 1890 decision to discontinue the practise.

gay marriage is a sin
its not that i hate every single gay person out there,
i just dont approve of it as well as others

WE (ahm "LDS". me) have not re-defined marriage. It is between a man and a woman. So how did we re-define that? Marriage has not for thousands of years changed because of societies needs. We believe God started in and defined it, and supports it, because it is the very best method to raise children, it IS the family.

Gay marriage is fine by us, but not in the church and we have that right. But they do not get the rights of marriage because of the very idea that is changes the best relationship there is, family.
