Why are Mccain's answers always so VAGUE? He seems to have difficulty with discussing...

...details? This morning on CNN, he was asked a direct question. How would he help the people affected by foreclosure.

He seemed to recite a rehearsed answer which he might NOT have actually understood well...something about itemized deductions...then he corrected himself and said he meant deductions for whatever wasn't itemized...ok, what?

So he tried hard to express SOME detail...but the EFFORT was obvious, so he just returned to a few fixed cliches....and ended it all saying that many things will be done! What? Huh? What things?
 
They are vague because McCain doesn't know what he's going to do. He's admitted that he doesn't know anything about the economy.

It's the war economy McCain's going to have to manage if he's elected. What's his platform anyway, fear?

A Republican President got us into a 3 trillion dollar war which we Americans will have to pay for--we are going to pay for that with our tax dollars and they are going to have to be raised. The US can barely make its payments on the existing National Debt, now we have this war to pay for with no end it sight.
 
Well he answered it before very clearly, and the best answer by any candidate I might add. He said

"It is not the duty of government to bail out and reward those who act irresponsibly, whether they are big banks or small borrowers."

I bought my house within my means. I looked at my income and my outflow; then I researched the pros and cons of different offerings. I took into account how many payments I could make, if God forbid I lost my job. Then made my decision. Why should my tax dollars now go to someone who bought WAYYYYY above their income and support them living in a much nicer house?
 
Senator McCain is a fine man, but his inadequacies will become more and more apparent, especially once, the true presidential race begins after the conventions.
