Why are liberals so brain-dead regarding simple economics: Preventative

medicine INCREASES health care costs? The fact that our life expectancy is 45th in the world keeps our health care costs DOWN. Increasing longevity would INCREASE costs (morbidity is higher in the elderly)

Riddle me this: how does cutting salt, fat, and getting proper exercise "increase" health care costs?

Your proud that our life expectancy rate is so low?

Im sorry, but BOO for you!

Can you prove that Preventative medicine INCREASES health care costs?
Give a source for this claim? Elderly passing in their sleep from old age would cost less then the result of a long term preventable illness which would be treated in a hospital.

I'm afraid you aren't aware of who has been controlling economic theory in our schools the past few years. But I'll give you a hint: they have fat wallets and aren't objective about how the science of economics works.

How Swiftian of you. We could keep costs down to 0 if we convinced the population of the entire world to commit mass suicide.

So, You are saying kill the old people??? Wait a minute!!!! Didn't the Conservative God Palin accuse Obama of that????? Just like a hypocritical con to accuse someone of something they didn't say and then suggest it themselves............

Why are conservatives so brain-dead regarding simple grammar: "preventative" is a noun & "preventive" is an adjective. That's probably the word you wanted to use but didn't know any better.

Perhaps you should have watched the president's speech regarding the value of staying in school & developing long & short-term goals.

But that's just me................

No it doesn't. Our addictions like sugar, tobacco, and alcohol keep our place low on the longevity scale.

Preventive maintenance keeps your car in good condition and running properly, and this makes it last longer.

Improvements in nutrition and healthier lifestyles would go a long way towards cutting health care costs.

Are you itchin' to join one of those fictitious "death panels"?

Wow. So, we should just let people get sick and die from preventable illnesses?

Why not just abolish health car altogether and let the fittest survive!
