Why are kids so against bicycle helmets, nowadays?

I got shouted at yesterday, and they were shocked when I shouted back, why???

They start shouting out "loser" WHY??? I only wear the bloody helmet because I've been hit by a bus twice, and I'm lucky I'm not in nappies (I wasn't wearing the helmet then). I wear a helmet now. Why do kids take the piss, sure, they stop once I shout back at 'em, but...why do it anyway? There's no point.
 
Probably cuz they're STUPID! If they were hit by a bus I'm sure they would have second tho'ts about a lot of things. Don't worry about it. Kids today are just rude. Their parents are rude so they don't know any other way to be. We live in a rude society! They think you're different from them so they make fun of you. Wouldn't the world be a drag if everyone were exactly the same?!?
 
Your absolutely right! in my days we didn't have helmets to protect us when we rode our bicycles in the streets of the city,and we survived.
