why are kids having sex young?

If kids are gonna do something unhealthy like have sex young, like middle school age, why can't they use protection to not make it so bad?

anyways, what are kids doing having sex so young? kids in elementary schools are doing it now. a girl at an elementary school not far from my school got pregnant, and a middle school girl got pregnant too.

do they think it's cool?
i see nothing cool about being a young mom and putting yourself at risk for std's and stuff.
 
u kno i am wondering the same thing i just don't understand why they cant just wait till they are married or till they are older i mean im waiting till i get married i have a purity ring i just think that its wrong kids having sex so young anyways if they did do it and used protection the condoms could still break and if the girl was taking birth control there is only a 98% chance that it could work u kno?!! i just dont think that they should do it until they are married or older !!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well most kids are just horny and can't wait longer till their 18 (like me) They can't buy condoms because their to young so they just do it without. But I would try and get a condom. I don't want to even know how much trouble I would get in if I made someone pregnant
 
they think that they feeel more adult and mature, but they just dont realize how young they are and dont knw the risks like pregnancy
 
To me i think its wrong they shouldn't have sex before their married that's their own problem getting aids give me a thumbs down i don't care.
 
They think its cool

plus it's been shuved in their faces on tv, radio, magazines, etc since they were born

They dont understand that sex is more about mentality then it is about the physical

and, they aren't getting the right education. Many organizations and even parents think 'abstinence is the only way to teach' when that is clearly not working. That's like thinking your child is never going to tell a white lie because you told them not too. They will make their own decisions, at least prepare them!
 
To Madison: NO loser parents don't make loser kids! Now what if your parents were 'failures' ? Would you want to be like them or better then them? See thats the kind of things that make kids strive for attention elsewhere because of negative comments coming from every angle.

Kids are having sex @ such young ages to fit in, to feel wanted by the opposite sex, and for many other reasons.
 
kids have sex without protection because of parents not educating them about condoms etc, its been found that many children who are sexually active come from religious households who are against protection etc the sort of households who are against sex ed
it is the parents fault for not teaching there children, the parents should be punished
