Why are jokes against Christianity and Judaism acceptable but jokes against Islam...

...are racist and intolerant? I see so many jokes against Christians and Jews (beliefs mocked etc) but yet cracking a joke against Islam/Muslims is considered close minded and racist.

Why?
 
It depends a lot on the nature of the joke.

Most people where I live know so little about Islam that the only stereotypes they have to go on are racist ones. It's hard to make jokes about things that people don't understand.

For example, I have a collection of great chemistry jokes that are funny to pretty much no one.
 
Maybe cuz that are tired of taking crap from other people.
Usually the jokes about Christians and Jews are something small like Jews have big noses. But when jokes are made about Muslims they are called offensive things like terrorist, bigots, wife beaters.....

There are some Jokes that are funny about Muslims, but most of them are highly offensive and made by people who have no clue about Muslims.

I have a great sense of humor. :):):):)
 
I think Muslims are just as delusional as Chrisitans. happy?

the reason you'll find me going after Christians on this forum, is because they are the ones knocking on my doors with evangelical religion peddling, they are the ones trying to legislate their beliefs as my laws, they are the ones trying to get pseudo-science taught in the schools.
