Why are home electronics C.D.'s so limited?

For over four years, I have been looking for a compact disc player which has a memory of more than 32 programable tracks. So far, even the Mega-Disc players, which I have found, contain only 32 programable tracks. Where should I look, if I want to find a compact disc machine, which can be programmed for more than 32 tracks. If possible, I wonder if a machine exists which can be programmed for 300, to 400, programmed tracks. ANy suggestions?
 
Companies put features that people actually use.
Most people never use that feature.

What is the purpose of programming 300 tracks!
You really need a digital player and there you can create a playlist as big as you want.
