Why are guys looked down upon who do not play sports?

i have never had many male friends and have been told it is because I never played team sports, and that is how most guys form friendships with each other. I always wanted to but have bad add, poor attention span and hand-eye coordination. Did anyone else notice this or have any ideas as to why society looks down on guys who are not athletic?

Because society is so concerned about a girl's feelings and making sure she is treated properly, valued, and pampered, while a guy is supposed to "take it like a man" and be treated like crap.

Athleticism is associated with "manliness." So it seems like that's the way a lot of guys learn to bond growing up. However, I have plenty of male friends who do not play sports - they have other interests. They may have been considered "nerds" growing up, but they are awesome and much more interesting than stereotypical "jocks."

What do you like? Music, books, video games? I'm sure you can find other people who share these interests.

Just spread the rumor that you couldn't play sports because your enormous gear kept getting in the way. You'll have lots of lady friends. The men who you wouldn't want for your friends anyway can eat a bag of sh!t.
