Those indian history books contain all sorts of inflated, exaggerated lies about how great gandhi was. its unfortunate that indians have to read such blatant lies.
after i read about the world history, then only i came to know how much of a fraud racist person gandhi was.
why cant indians publish history books with true stories or are they too ashamed?
its also a lie that gandhi's quit india movement gave india freedom. the truth is that britain was financially weak after the world war and thus willingly left india. no indian could ever force them to leave.
