Why are Dems whining about health care partisanship when the have the votes...

...to pass the mess all by themselves?
If it's so great they cant take full credit. They have the 60 & during the August recess, enough time to read a bill for once.
Oh, they will try to pass it...as Chuck Shumer (D) NY said: 'even if we have to ram it down their throats.'
Here's the "c" I forgot in Schumer if someone points it out.

Republicans screamed for bipartisanship.
Then when Dems invite them to the table they try to undermine everything.
Then when Dems ask them to be responsible and put American before party they say go to hell - pass it yourself.

And yet you wonder why your party is on the verge of political oblivion?

Penny, if they have to do it by themselves then they will--even if they have to wheel Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy in on gurneys. They were hoping that the Republican Party might actually try to do something good for the country for a change. I guess that was naive, eh?

My last question was bust Penny and I think for this one im going with this "unknown Unknowns" as rummy used to say. I thought i knew guns but it seems I just was a good buyer lol.....oh well im off to the range in <2> days ,it seems no real gun control is on the table . chow dino

Because they want to spread the blame when things go wrong and when they have to raise taxes on everyone not just the rich to pay for it they will be able to say that it is because the concessions they had to make to get republican votes

Because they want to advertise, "Bipartisan" even though they may only get 1 or 2 Republicans. They don't want to be solely blamed when this whole health care debacle blows up in their faces, as it inevitably will if it passes.
