Why are conservatives constantly complaining about taxes and the size of government..?

...then turn around and say, "my tax dollars going to the inept crooks at AIG is okay with me, because Rush says so!" and then also say Bush was a fantastic, flawless president, even though massively increased the size of government and almost tripled the deficit?

Also, what's with conservatives being okay with making laws governing what people can put in their bodies, who they can marry, what religion they should be (prayer in school)?

Dodgy answers will be ridiculed for certain.

not all republicans liked Bush. He was not well liked but he did some good things for the country. I think it would be very difficult for you to find a conservative who would say that Bush was a flawless, fantastic president". Also, the whole idea of being a conservative is they want governent intervention. That's why is you vote republican, you are voting to make laws to govern into people's lives. That's what you believe in. If you don't believe in governemnt intervention, then you vote liberal...
