Why are charge-coupled devices (CCDs) more useful than photographic plates in astronomy?

B) CCDs do not produce diffraction fringes
C) CCDs can measure brightness more precisely
D) CCDs are not susceptible to chromatic aberration

Can anyone answer this please?
