I want to know why in particular East Indian men are so chauvinistic?
I had a very bad experience yesterday. I am a younger white female and I was speaking with a middle-aged East Indian male and he was rude from the get-go with me and once my work partner came out to talk with him he immediately did not continue eye contact with me and only spoke to him. I have never been treated with such racism and chauvinism. What gets me, and I do not mean for this to be racist at all because I have a lot of East Indian friends and they're great people, is if you come to OUR country from yours why do you bring your culture with you!! Canadians and Americans live in an equal, free country and if you want it to be like your own country why did you come here in the first place?
Now ya'll can hate on me for this question if you want but remember. I WAS THE VICTIM HERE not him.
By the way, I am smart ok so I know when I am being treated unfairly and I have never had that kind of treatment. The way he spoke to me was belittling and improper and if you don't understand please just skip past this question unless you're craving your 2 points.
