Thanks guys....

I would like to get ur views as to why Android would beat iPhone and BlackBerry.... there must be some interesting facts which many of us may not even know.....

Yes the Android will win.

It reminds me of the day Apple was competitive with PCs for market share. PCs won market share cause there were many manufacturers making them and they were compatible and used Microsoft. Apple IPads, ITouch and IPhones are great products, but you have to buy into to Apple only. Android like, Microsoft on PCs, runs on many phones by different manufacturers. Sounds like a winner.

You have many manufacturers trying to one up iphone. An os that is constantly being improved. The customization. The frequent new releases of phones. The only thing imo the iphone has that android doesn't is better quality apps (since they follow guidelines when devs desing them) I tunes (which I don't really care about) the build quaility and sleekness of it, battery life and screen...that was a lot more than I thought. But this are all areas that manufacturers and devs are out to beat. There's talk of a retina disply android phone coming out later this year in I think it was korea. Iphones are more for people that don't understand how technology works. My mom has an evo and only uses her main home screen and not the other 6....apple won't release a newer iphone for probably anouther 2 or 3 years. By this time they'll be the ones playing catch up.

I hate to say this, but number of Apple fanboys > number of google fanboys + number of Windows fanboys. So the iPhone will rule the roost for some more time.

I would give Android atleast 2- 3 years before it is King.

I posted this on the Apple forum and it was immediately removed. Thanks Apple!

"The Rogers, Fido and Bell stores that I walk past every day had iPhone 4 for around a half an hour on launch day and that was it. They all have temporarily sold out signs up ever since as if they expect to get more one day. Oh, sure I can go to the Apple store and line up and maybe get one for $800, but I'd rather try for a $250 one with a contract.

Oh, wait, I just got an HTC Desire for $79 and the proximity sensor works, the antenna works, Youtube works, multitask works, it has a replaceable battery and expandable memory. I waited years for this iPhone to come out but when it did I couldn't buy one when I wanted to, and even if I could have bought one it would be flawed. Oh well. You lost me for this phone, Apple. Maybe iPhone 7."

It's whiny and totally not about iPhone support, but whatever happened to freedom of expression? Not at Apple anyway. So glad the iPhone is still sold out because my Android rules.
