i think i hit a raw nerve with my question why most americans dont educate themselves in learning another language. most of the answers were such as "english is too important for us to bother with other languages." No man is an island. I see the spread of other languages growing and english the way it sounds in america is drastically changing. My question was still unanswered. This is an honest and fair question. Im 15 years old and I speak 3 languages. Please can someone give me an educated answere.
