I need money for college. This school year (09-10) I was not eligible for the Pell Grant, which means I'm not for any grant. Unfortunately, my parents are not able to get the PLUS loan.
My school's Cost of Attendance: $35,000
My Estimated Family Contribution: $5,316.00
Why am I not eligible for the Pell Grant?
Though, it is estimated that my family can pay $5,316, they cannot. For the past couple of months my father has been working in sort of a cycle, working for 3 weeks and getting laid off 2 weeks. Aside from my father's lack of work he has been ill, medical bills have accumulated as a result. I just want to go back to school.
Is there anyway I can get more financial aid?
