WHY am I getting picture but no sound when i connect my Ipad to my LCD tv using APPLE COMPONENT AV CABLE?

I have my Ipad plugged into the back of my 2008 lcd TV correctly as far as i can see.
I have the three ( red, green and blue ) in the video and I DO HAVE VIDEO ON THE SCREEN.
Then in the same line as the 3 video input colors i have a ( white and Red For audio.

Then video shows up but no sound.
I have the volume turned up on the tv and the Ipad
Can anyone help me out please?
