Why am I getting email to my Yahoo pop account addressed to ther users?

It seems to be spam with the addressed recipients name starting with the same letter as my yahoo.com.au email address, eg. my [email protected] account is receiving email addressed to [email protected] and [email protected]. yes my Outlook setting are correct and have no wild search characters.
