Why All The Fuss? So-called "classic" movies you don't like

:D
Have you SEEN the HP movies???
Since you already know you don't like 5,6 and 7.
(I guess I did the same thing with the LOTR films, though...)

I really hated Raging Bull.Bullsquit, more like.Everyone just spent the whole film shouting at each other, and the boxing sequences were way over the top as well. Can't criticise DeNiro at all, especially considering the extremes he went through in making the film. But I absolutely hated it personally.

Perhaps I would change my mind if I saw it again, but I have no desire to do so whatsoever.

Also the afforementioned American Beauty.Again, the lead role was outstanding and Oscar worthy, but everything else about the film sucked like an industrial hoover.I've seen it three times and can not get into it at all.

I really liked Spirited Away but I thought that the directors supposed masterpiece "Princess Mononoke" was a load of humourless ridiculous pompous arse. Admittedly it had some striking visuals and scenes but generally I thought the story and the animation was nothing to get all orgasmic about.

Braveheart,
Titanic,
Lord of the rings 1, 2 & 3,
Goodfellas,
The excorcist,
Saving private Ryan.

Cant stand all of them, all over blown, over rated nonsense in my opinion.

Edward ScissorhanRAB is the only one that springs to mind. I have it on DVD but haven't watched it all the way through. Love Johnny Depp but....

I know the point of it is to be a fantasy and slightly twisted, but I couldn't cope!

The Sound of Music (Julie Andrews is great, but the film drags on far to long in my opinion). Plus there are some scenes in the film that bore me to death.

The Godfather (Never saw the whole film, only saw like 5mins of it and i got bored).

Schindler's List (I am not a big fan of war films. they depress me).

Pulp Fiction (I dont know if this is really a classic, but it has got a high rating on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110912/, i dont see what all the fuss is.

Die Hard (I did enjoy this movie, but i only enjoyed towarRAB the end when all the action started).

Psycho (Alfred Hitchcoc and the remake, i just found them boring, and not scary at all).

It's A Wounderful Life (I only got one word for this film Boring).

Se7en (I just thought it was boring, and it wasnt scary at all)

The Sixth Sense (I think that nothing much happens in this film, there is like 1 or 2 creepy scenes the rest i think are dull).

Well thats all i can think of.
