SOMETIMES MY CAR TURNS ON AND SOMETIMES IT DOESNT. MY BATTERY DRAINS VERY QUICKLY, EVEN IF IM IN A STORE FOR TEN MINUTES. I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO FIND THE SHORT ON MY OWN AS I CANT AFFORD A MECHANIC. ANY ADVICE. AND NO SMART A$$ REMARKS PLEASE
It doesnt sound like a short of any kind... it sounds like the battery may be undervolted or dying. Have the battery checked at your local auto parts store and replace if necessary. If you have already done so, then have the alternator checked.
