Why 19.99 instead of 9.99

I just was on the phone with T-Mobile. Two reasons... they over charged me 100.00 on my new curve, and when I changed my plan they took off my Hot Spot add on.
I signed up for the HS when it was at the 9.99 rate and now they say that I have to pay the 19.99 price.
They said it was only for a month and everybody is now at the 19.99 rate.
would somebody take a look to see if this is correct?
I love my new phone and as far as I'm concerned TMO is the best service for me. I've had them for years thru a company i worked for then I signed up myself. Wouldn't move to another carrier no matter the price. I just wish i didn't have to follow up on my bill when something changes.
 
OK but...are you paying 19.99 now? I figured i would be grandfathered over when it changed. it's no big deal to me, i'd still have it to save me the money if it cost 29.99 a month.
 
It is my understanding that the $9.99 is email only. $19.99 gets you the full internet with email. It is still on their website as such.
 
ummm...we are talking about Hot Spots @ Home in this thread...not data services...T-mo had a promotion until 9/12/07 to get H@H for $9.99 a month plus a free wi-fi router worth $50...now the deal is $19.99 a month and you can still get the router free after MIR...so that should bring you up to speed

ray you should have been grandfathered in...any progress?
 
That rep doesn't know what the hell they were talking about. You should really stress to them that the removed H@H from your plan without your consent.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~yeah if you signed up for the 9.99 addon for H@H then you should be grandfathered in just like every other promo there is on the face of the earth unless you have sprint...they don't care what you paid the month before. Or what you agreed to pay for the service, haha
 
Try a t-mobile store, they might beable to help you there. Go to a corporate store. Sometimes the Face to Face thing works, they still have to call it in, but they have a little more power then the customer

i Figured I was right. I've had to fight a few time times with them about my Road side add on.
