My 12 week old foster puppy Ivy that I have had for 5 days is now attacking my 20 month old APBT Addie that she loved playing and sleeping with. Addie is a very gentle soul and now has bite marks all over her face. This crazy behavior started at about 5 pm and I separated them for 2 hours and then brought Addie back to Ivy and Ivy went right at her again growling and biting Addie's face. I know playing and she is not playing
What can I do? The puppy is crying because she is alone but she cannot behave. What would make the puppy so crazy all of a sudden? There is plenty of dry food and water, normal toys (No raw hide or other premium items), and lots of blankets and towels to lay on. She will only be with us for 9 more days.
We live in the mountains and it is not possible to take the puppy to meet people and other dogs right now due to snow and extreme cold and she will only be here for 9 more days and the dogs have to get along.
How do I make her know being aggressive is a no-no besides separating the dogs?
