Whuadda fook??
I think I'm on what I call a mental dope. I can't seem to concentrate in general and I'm always in a depressed mood. I feel so disgusted by everything that a teenager like myself has to go through, I just want to quit in life. I want to be a different person, unafraid to do stuff that are good or stupid. I don't want to ever conform to some system designed to take advantage of me and other individuals. I'm talking about specifically the North American education system. I've read a lot of opinions of people who went through the education and most agree to that to conform is to succeed. Well, I'd like to differ; education is just some system set up by adults who merely want to group together the young people like a prison simply because they have no use of them anymore. In retrospect to classical age, human beings of my age weren't simply put together in a cage, taught discipline and were forced to do work that are completely meaningless and of no use in the future. At least they started working as early as 10 under apprenticeships or in farms, and they all had joy in what they were given to do. In my opinion, we're never going to be more human than kids at that era. So why am I telling you this? Maybe because people nowadays are so much harassed by the so called educators that they simply started hating knowledge in general. And why should education be that important, when all it will do is feed one with redundant information that's not going to feed them. It's already hard enough to apply for a decent university, let alone extra few degrees or a job afterwards. Plus, one's going to have to work for indefinitely, going through the stages of life as if it was paper-weight and simple labour afterwards. Is the first 20 years of one's life really dominant over the rest of your lifetime? Yes, I may sound like a rebel by saying this, but to what extent are teenagers going to conform to a system that's going to torment their lives indefinitely?
think about it.
