Mean Creek did get a theatrical release and so did Hocus Pocus. They were both in the cinemas near me anyway.

A movie called Mad Money, which I think is a remake of ITV's Hot Money but I'm not sure.

Studio Ghibli's Tales of Earthsea... I love that film!

Heart and Souls, 1993 starring Robert Downey Jr, and including Kyra Sedgwick and Alfre Woodard.

Beautiful film. I don't think it even had a VHS/DVD release in the UK until a few years ago. I'm fairly sure it was not released in cinemas over here.

No idea why. The performences are amazing and the story is lovely. It should have been a hit. Even among the American audience it is not a movie people talk about.
