How many of you are planning to get the e7?
 
I want both the n8 and e7. Im so sick of using my n97 i just want something new for a change. Seems like ive had this n97 for years now. I hope the e7 has hdmi out though.
 
+1 for the E7, i just hope it's a shorter time to market than the N8 has been. By shorter, if it is announced next week, I mean it's here in October or November even though I'm not that naive and know it won't be here til December.
And by market I mean the US. And i hope it's NOT carried by AT&T for obvious reasons
 
im in the fence and the biggest factor is the release of the n9. If it's too long I may just jump on the e7 and deal with symbian (which is much better anyways that the version in my e75), 8MP camera and even if it doesnt have HDMI like the n8.

I just really need to replace my e75...its wiggly and ...well...just needs replaced.

I have a soft spot for qwerties esp this one is very thin I liked the droid but never had that nokia like reception or hardware , I am with iPhone now but going to switch out bc I can't freaking type on this thing , but iPhone is the best phone out there period best browser battery hardware and software

The N900 has a better browser. The Bold 9700 has a better battery life. The Palm Pre has better software. The Nexus One has better hardware.

I'm going to wait the 6 months for when the N9 is rumored to actually hit the market. IMO the user experience is going to be too similar to the N97 on the S^3 devices.

Sick of waiting though!
 
Gotta disagree about the hardware. Outside antenna/death grip plus glass on both sides , ummm no way!


I'd still take the N900 browser easily as well over it too...
 
where did you read that?

If i recall correctly from a press release from a nokia exec (cant remember who) they were supposed to have the n9 out by the end of the year. A six month wait would suck!
 
Right. It lacks 3G on the carrier you use, so let's maul it for not conforming to you, specifically. Get real.

The world is bigger than North America, and there are better carriers than AT&T. Hard to believe, huh?
 
Well the phone isn't even official yet, so I doubt Nokia has said anything about the N9 release specifically. I'm just operating off a tweet from Eldar who seems to be pretty accurate with this stuff. Definitely just a rumor, but I'm not getting my hopes up anytime soon.
