The answer is that it is all of us who are to blame. This is why I don't like reading that it was all 'the westerners', or (which is simply incredible to me given the centures of western industrial development, but yet it is what I just finished reading on one of the answers) that it is China and India that are to blame. What is wrong with you people - can't you even collaborate together to save the planet?
Dr Jello - good thing whatever your discipline is doesn't rely on context. I'm obviously talking about human-caused climate change. You should have been able to pick up the fact that climate change is constantly in the media as a shortened way of saying this. Bravo, oh anally-retentive one.
